Belles and Tinkers

Thank you for the interest in Belles & Tinkers Wraparound. 

We are pleased to announce that we are able to offer this service.

For those new to the way wraparound works, hopefully this will answer

some questions for you. It is a service that will be provided by Little

Rascals and provides continuous child care after Nursery finishes at

11.30am through to 3pm.

We offer the complete child care provision too, so along with being able

to access childcare straight from Nursery, children will be able to come

to the already existing Breakfast Club and After School Club. Making us

an ideal choice to look after your children.

The benefits of Belles & Tinkers care extend beyond providing

convenient childcare for working parents, with studies showing that 

after-school activities improve both physical and psychological health.

Partaking in after-school activities helps to broaden children’s interests,

introducing them to a range of enriching activities and sports that may

not be covered in the school day. They may even identify a new hobby

or interest. This time is a valuable way to further enhance social skills,

with children of all ages together in a more informal environment.

You will be able to use any voucher scheme you currently use

including the 30 funded government hours. It couldn’t be simpler!

The staff in Belles & Tinkers will be the staff that are currently employed

in the existing clubs and also work in the school too. All staff in club are

qualified to the highest of standards as expected from CIW our

inspecting body.

The manager and assistant managers have completed their level C of

safeguarding while the rest of the playworkers have their level B. All staff

are first aid trained and as well as having childcare qualifications also

have playworker qualifications. Both assistant managers are ELSA and

Trauma Informed trained.

All the staff are wonderful and attentive to each child’s needs. I watch him learn new skills and I ask him where he learnt that it’s almost always one of the wraparound staff. I love the fact that whilst in nursery 9:00-11:30 he remains in the same class for wrap around as well as some of the same staff. Class DoJo is regularly updated where parents get to see what their child has been up to. I love the fact they are outside rain or shine.
